Pakistan vs West Indies 3rd ODI Highlights Today 11 April 2017
Watch PAK vs WI highlights of the final ODI played at Providence on 11-4-2017. W Indies vs Pakistan cricket highlights today. In previous game, Babar Azam proved to be an insurmountable hurdle in the way of West Indies who hoped for a rare series win against the visiting side. Almost 25 years have passed when they defeated Pakistan in a bilateral series in November 1991. Richie Richardson was the captain at that time and if we compare Jason Holder with him, a victory seems an elusive goal to achieve. But then Pakistan was also lead by the great Imran Khan while today young and inexperienced Sarfraz leads this team. So both teams have equal chances of victory today in the third ODI which has become decider of the series.
Toss: West Indies won the toss and elected to bat.
So far the series is squared by 1-1 after the hosts won the first game by chasing 309 runs but failed to achieve 283 runs in the second ODI. West Indies must have a lot of hopes from Pakistan’s fragile and unreliable batting line to win this ODI and the series as well.
On the other hand, Pakistan would be looking for the same in West Indian camp. The visitors are a better bowling side but it failed to defend 309 runs. So unpredictability factor may be attached to both the teams.
Babar Azam has scored 5 centuries so far and four of these have been got against West Indies. He will be the prime target of Caribean bowing today. If he falls early, the hosts will hope to restrict Pakistan to a smaller total.
There is weather forecast of an afternoon shower that may disturb match proceedings. We should be ready for a curtailed contest if rains become heavier.
Shoaib Malik’s 101 runs made the target a child’s play to achieve.
