Both Karachi and Islamabad have locked horns for two times in this season and both games have been won by Karachi Kings. So Islamabad will be under immense pressure today. This is an eliminator match which means the losing side will be out of the tournament while the winner will face Peshawar Zalmi in the second eliminator on 3rd March 2017.

Karachi’s journey have been very tough as they lost their first three games but then somehow regained their composure and won four of the last five games. This makes them a dangerous side because they have touched the low and then started moving upward.

Islamabad United is known for their capability to rise from their ashes. During last season, they rose from a very low position and won the tournament. They may repeat the same in this season too.

This is a competition between big guns from both teams. Shane Watson, Brad Haddin and Misbah-ul-Haq from United while Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Amir, Babar Azam and Kumar Sangakkara from Kings will be up against each other.
