India vs Australia 3rd ODI Scorecard Today 24 Sep 2017

Kudos to the batting trio of Rahane, Sharma and Pandya, as India take an unassailable lead of 3-0 against the Aussies in the five-match ODI series, gunning down a healthy target of 294 runs with 13 balls still left. This victory defends their 100% win record in Indore and registers yet another series victory for the Blue Jerseys in their own backyard. It is brilliant to see how the openers provided a brilliant foundation for the batting order, while the middle-order batsman Hardik Pandya helped immensely in finishing what Sharma and Rahane had started. This means that the Aussies are out of the contest, but still have two games left, through which they would like to salvage some pride.

A magnificent singleton from Aaron Finch, who had just returned from injury, and then a 63-run knock from the skipper himself, gave hopes to the Aussie spectators that the Kangaroos will cross the 300-mark, but as was seen in the previous games and expert analysis, Australian batsmen once again became victims of Indian wrist-spinners, Yadav and Chahal, who put barracks in front of them and they fell six runs short of the triple hundred. Bumrah removed the remaining key batsman – Travis Head – along with the wicket keeper Handscomb.
